Sira becomes certification body for IECEx Personnel Competence

Sira has received notification of the extension of its scope to issue personnel certification under the new IECEx Competence Scheme.

The IECEx Certification of Personnel Competencies Scheme (CoPC) is the world’s first international scheme for the certification of personnel associated with equipment, installations and servicing used by Ex industries.

It provides global Ex industries with a single system for the assessment and qualification of persons meeting the competence prerequisites needed to properly implement the safety requirements when working in potentially explosive atmospheres.
